Introduction

Home automation is something we plan to expand further in 2026. For now, the living room is equipped with Philips Hue bulbs, the hallway has two Zigbee bulbs, and there are Philips Hue bulbs in two bedrooms. All lights are easy to control using the Philips Hue app.

A Hue remote is available in the living room and can control all lights there at once — for example, turning them on or off or dimming them together. If you’d like to try the app, you can register your phone for local access on the Hue Bridge.

The Home Assistant setup is still in an early testing phase, so there’s no need to keep the server (PVE03) running at the moment.
